Lawrence Story received a degree in psychology and social rehabilitation from Stephen F. Austin University, and a Masters Degree with a concentration in Healthcare Administration combined with Doctoral work from the University of Houston.
Mr. Story has over 25 years of administrative experience in operations and management within the Behavioral Health Care Industry. He has previously served as a hospital based Chief Executive Officer for national organizations. Mr. Story has managerial experience in supplying health care services to state & local governmental entities and private behavioral health organizations.
His professional responsibilities have included CEO, COO, and Executive Director positions that have utilized his extensive experience in strategic planning, team building and physician staff development. Lawrence has worked with large publicly traded healthcare organizations and is familiar with the challenges of growing a division of specialty hospitals that he has taken on in his role with Focus.
Lawrence is a hands-on leader and has proven himself to the local physicians by surrounding himself with team members that enjoy his leadership style and motivational skills. |
