Mark holds a Masters in Health Administration from Central Michigan University and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Coe College.
Mark has worked in hospital administration in over 26 different facilities over the past 14 years. He has enjoyed the many changes through the start up, turnaround, acquisition and selling process during his endeavors.
He was the first person in the mid 1990’s to receive a JCAHO accreditation for a specialty hospital start up operation in Louisiana.
Mark transitioned from the outpatient surgery business in the late 1980’s to the inpatient environment and understands the continuum of care and the appropriate critical pathways that are necessary to weather the numerous requirements for each type of patient criteria.
Marks favorite part of his healthcare contributions has been the development of specialty hospitals in communities that had never had them prior. Mark has a proven track record for successful implementation of each of these business opportunities. |
